Groups Set for Inaugural FIFA Women's Futsal World Cup

The inaugural FIFA Women’s Futsal World Cup, set to take place in the Philippines from November 21 to December 7, 2025, has officially set its group stage.

Host nation Philippines headlines Group A, where they will face Poland, Morocco, and South American contender Argentina. Over in Group B, European powerhouse Spain is matched with Thailand, one of Asia’s top sides, alongside Colombia and Canada.

Group C features reigning European champions Portugal, joined by Japan, Oceania’s New Zealand, and debutants Tanzania, who are looking to make a mark on the global stage. Rounding out the field, Group D is tipped to be the “group of death,” with futsal giants Brazil clashing against Iran, Italy, and Panama.

The tournament is shaping up to be a monumental event in women's football and women's sports in general.
