AFC U-23 Asian Cup Qualifiers Underway for The Philippines

The journey to the AFC U-23 Asian Cup 2026 begins today for the Philippines Men’s U-23 National Football Team as they face Syria tonight at 9:00PM PHT

All eyes are on Philippine Starboy Sandro Reyes as he looks to make his etch his name in the history books. As well as debuting centre-back Isaiah Alakiu, who recently chose football over a promising basketball career having recently signed for Premier League side Brighton’s under-18 squad.

The Philippines is grouped in Group K of the qualifying round joined by Syria, Tajikistan and Nepal. This will prove to be a difficult task for this young squad as they hope to top the group and qualify for the 2026 AFC U-23 Asian Cup in Saudi Arabia.
